The Vision of Deception
“And the man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.”
If we understand that the term "חַ וָּּה" (Chavah, Eve) represents, above all, the feminine aspect that is life and therefore our vitality, it is not difficult to accept that she is called the "mother of all living" and that our direct bloodline comes from her. The role of women is fundamental in creation and the perpetuation of life.
Therefore, Eve should no longer be judged as the culprit of our fall, but rather as a symbol of the ability to nurture and sustain not only physically but also spiritually what has been created. She represents the receptive aspect of humanity, and while this is part of our nature, being receivers of light, we are also givers, radiating and transforming it.
Spiritual evolution, as a process of elevating the material to the divine, makes "חַ וָּּה" (Chavah, Eve), with its numerical value of 19 (Chet = 8, Vav = 6, Hei = 5), lead us to glimpse those manifestations of life through duality, no longer as opposites but as beings who complement each other, integrating into the source of all life, our Creator.
The name "חַ י " (chai, life) has a numerical value of 18 (Chet = 8, Yod = 10), which is associated with life itself. Thus, by being the bearer and transmitter of life, Eve becomes the supreme link to understanding that it is not just a matter of biology, but that our transformation and renewal, in addition to being constant, is essentially spiritual.
We begin from a sperm and an egg that, fertilized in the vessel of our mothers’ wombs, enable the birth of a being. This process calls us to recognize the importance of life and the responsibility we all have to nurture and protect that life, both physically and spiritually.
Life is the great divine gift, which motivates us to actively participate in the creation and sustenance of life in all its forms, working towards greater balance and harmony in our lives, integrating the material and the spiritual into a coherent whole.
We must never lose sight of the fact that there is a connection between all living beings, and therefore, our actions and decisions have a profound impact on the world around us today, but also on the world to come. This inspires us to value and respect life in all its manifestations, recognizing the divinity that resides in every living being.
